Products and services - SRS Copycom Ltd Scotland UK

SRS provides a wide range of IT services and support options to a variety of Scottish businesses and organisations

Our core services include hardware maintenance, software maintenance, networking installation and design, IT consultancy, thin client networks, windows server installations, email services such as exchange server and computer security.

We service and support clients in Aberdeen, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Dundee, Perth, Tayside, Grampian and Strathclyde. Please read below for a brief description of our computer services.

Computer maintenance – proactive Scotland UK

We can remotely monitor your systems from our support centre in Dunfermline to prevent problems arising and to avoid potentially expensive downtime and disruption.

We can also arrange for regular periodic trouble-shooting visits by one of our technical consultants to ensure that your systems are running smoothly and to address any concerns or problems which individual users may have.

Computer maintenance - reactive

We provide fast and efficient solutions to hardware and software faults. You simply log a call with our helpdesk and we will initially attempt to diagnose and fix the problem for you using our remote support software or verbally by telephone. If necessary we will dispatch a field engineer to your site to help resolve the problem. If faulty equipment requires to be brought back to our support centre for further examination and repair we can provide you with a temporary replacement to ensure that any down-time is minimised. We recognise the importance of business continuity and that you cannot afford to down tools and lose time if computer equipment fails.

Computer consultancy Scotland UK

We will meet with you to discuss any concerns or problems you have regarding your existing systems or projects you may be considering. We will then make recommendations taking into account what you wish to achieve and ensuring that there are clear benefits for you and your organisation. Whatever your requirements, we fully understand that you do not have an unlimited budget and that you must be happy that any potential investment brings an appropriate return.

E-mail service Scotland UK

Most organisations these days use e-mail as a quick and efficient way of communicating both internally and externally – after all, time is money.

By using the SRS hosted e-mail service, there is no requirement for you to purchase and instal expensive e-mail software and use up your time looking after it. We look after all of this for you and ensure that your e-mail is always available.

Thin Client Networking Scotland UK

If you are considering a network or already operate one using individual PC’s you may wish to consider the benefits of a “thin client” network. In thin client networking all applications are run on a dedicated secure server computer with terminals replacing desktop PC’s. These terminals generally do not have hard or floppy disk drives and cannot be corrupted or subjected to viruses in the same way as PC’s. In addition to the network security benefits there are potential cost savings through deploying terminals as opposed to the costs of purchasing, replacing and maintaining PC’s. There are also softer benefits for users in that terminals take up considerably less desk space than PC’s.

We will be happy to provide you with a no-obligation demonstration of terminal-server networking.

Your virtual IT manager

By utilising our services you will effectively receive expert support and advice at a fraction of the cost of employing a full-time IT manager. By using us on an “as and when required” basis we can be a variable cost to your organisation as opposed to a fixed cost – good news for your financial director!

With SRS in control you can spend less time worrying about computer problems and more time getting on with what you do best.
